Reviews=A young African-American photographer by the name of Chris Washington is dragged out to his girlfriend's parents' house to spend the weekend and meet the family. Chris feels unwelcome, considering there are only three other African-Americans on the farm, and two of them work on it. As the weekend progresses, Chris starts noticing some weird things around the farm and when he snaps a picture of one of the family members, the man freaks out. First let me say as a person of color I have an issue with the comments saying this movie puts white ppl in a negative light. Do u know how many music vids, TV shows, movies, news segments, etc. portray ethnic ppl negatively, jus b grateful this was fictional! Being from the northern va area, seeing interracial relationships is nothing special so I wish society would stop treating them like unicorn sightings. ON to the movie. POSSIBLE SPOILERS Coming from a sketch comedy background, I commend Peele's efforts however I didn't find the movie That Funny nor scary plus there were a few plot holes. 1) what the heck made Williams character so DESIRABLE to colored folks? She's attractive but doesn't have a platinum vagina 2) if the family was aiming for strong nubile folks how did she discover Chris? Yea he was in shape but his body wouldn't have won him internet attention. 3) How did the physical control of those hypnotized work when/if they died? 4) there was never any explanation as to y African Americans were the target? 5) what made Chris's eyes & brains so desirable to the blind dude. I jus have more questions than answers with this flick. I would've liked it better if my questions had been answered.
